The TRAD Internal Stair Unit is specifically designed to provide safe and quick access between levels in stairwells and any open voids. So if you are in need of a flexible Temporary Stair Unit System then TRAD Safety Systems have the solution.

The TRAD Temporary Stair Unit is designed to allow safe access between floors during construction. It eliminates the use of ladders, making the movement of materials and tools between floors an easy and safe operation. The lightweight single piece unit is constructed from aluminium for a quick and simple installation. It speeds up productivity, reduces accidents on site, and improves overall welfare and efficiency. An optional extended landing platform is also available to enable the unit to achieve a greater span over voids in town houses etc. Installed easily and quickly, and helping speed up productivity while reducing accidents on site

The Stair Unit is lifted by a forklift into the area where it is to be installed, there are two channels on the underside for the forks to go into. Then the Stair Unit is lifted manually by 2 people, over to the void area, before being lifted up into place. With one person standing at either side, the Stair Unit is carefully lifted from the front and onto the upper level, then if required the two legs at the bottom can be adjusted.

The TRAD Internal Stair Unit conforms to BS EN 12811 and WAHR and is tested to a load capacity of 150 kilos.
